Girls in Action
GA's is a missions organization for girls in grades 1-6.
In GA’s, girls:
- learn what missionaries do
- pray for missionaries and their work
- discover how they can help other people
- save and give money to help tell other people about Jesus
- learn about people around the world
- have fun with friends!
GA’s meet every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Acteens
Acteens is a mission organization for girls in grades 7-12.Through Acteens, teenaged girls can have opportunities to grow in their relationship with God and their peers. Acteens learn to look beyond themselves and become actively involved in missions and ministries.
Missions is at the heart of Acteens, and members explore and do hands-on missions in the community and beyond. Acteens are also actively involved in learning abut missions and praying for and giving to missions.
Acteens meet every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Youth on Missions
Youth on Missions is a group of young people, grades 7-12, who care about others.
Youth on Missions offers teens many opportunities to grow in their relationship with God and their peers. It also helps them to learn that they can be part of God's work through missions and ministry.
Youth on Missions meets every 4th Sunday.
Royal Ambassadors
RA's is a mission based organization for young boys in grades 1-6.
The RA Motto, "We are Ambassadors for Christ," not only gives the organization its name, but also gives the boys and leaders a lifestyle goal. This Motto is taken from Scripture, specifically 2 Corinthians 5:20.
The Scripture passage 2 Corinthians 5:17-20 describes the purpose of Royal Ambassadors. While the RA motto is found in verse 20, the other verses sum up Paul's declaration of why we need to be ambassadors for Christ.
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come. Now everything is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ; certain that God is appealing through us, we plead on Christ's behalf, 'Be reconciled to God.'" (2 Cor. 5:17-20, HCSB)
Challengers
Challengers is the mission based organization for young men in grades 7-12. Young men participate in bible study and mission projects.
